Man oh man. I have a raging headache and a cough. Why must I always be the one to get sick right before vacation? Grrr..
Last night ended up being fun even though Jackie got grounded from not putting her laundry away. So I ended up going to see "Undercover Brother" with Katie. That's a pretty good movie. They make a lot of black and white jokes. lol.
Then I went to Liz's house for her bonfire. When I first got there, it was mainly all of her college friends, and then a few people I did know..like Colin. (haha Kim!) It was nice seeing him, I hadn't seen him since last august before he left for college. Then after awhile a bunch of DQ people came over and the fun began. We were all sitting around by the fire talking, Mike kept trying to attempt to cut this big hunk of fire wood, and then ended up hurling the axe into Liz and Mark's garden after he couldn't cut it. lol. We all talked some more, then I left about 12:30 a.m. Came home and went to bed.
I woke up at 5:30 this morning and got ready. At 5:45 I went to pick up JFo and discovered she had slept in, so I spent about 10 minutes trying to wake her up by tapping on her window..finally she got up. I went to pick up Josh while JFo showered. Then we all went to meet at Taki's for "Breakfast w/ Dave"..fun times. lol.
Beth (our boss) asked us to stop and buy orange juice and onions on our way home..so we did. That was great. Josh is hilarious. After our pit stop to GE we went to Kmart to waste some time. It was funny cause we were all in our work clothes and we were all wearing flip flops. We ended up buying these random stickers for our bosses as a joke..and they ended up liking them!
Then we headed to DQ for our employee meeting, and staff photo. While I was walking towards the picnic tables Mike goes "GIVE ME A PIGGY BACK RIDE!!" and like jumped on my back..so I started running around with him on my back and almost killed both of us when I tripped on a hole. haha. I think our staff photo will be cute, even though half of the employees weren't there. oh well. The meeting was fun too. Jim was happy he got an employee to employee recognition thingy.. and it was filled out by me. Even though the boys a major slacker..he does do stuff right sometimes and therefore deserves recognition.
I worked from 11-1:30. It went by fast.
And now I'm home till about 6:15, the I have to go to my dance recital. Yikes. I'm really nervous..eek!
Well I'm off to put the final touches on my vacation packing, and perhaps to take a little nap, we are leaving for vacation at 2:30 a.m tonight, or actually tomorrow..er, you know what I mean!
