So my 18th birthday turned out to be quite nice. Being that it's Friday the 13th and all. lol.
I awoke this morning to my car being covered in blue balloons, orange streamers and blue writing all over the windows. Ah yes. The works of Katie Renze. It was a very clever idea, but I was embarrassed to drive to school in it. But being the nice person I am, I did, and got quite a few stares along the way.
School went by fast. Tons of people wished me Happy Birthday, and even some random people I didn't even know. I guess some people do listen to the announcements. I'm just pleased that Katie Flemming said "Katie" instead of "Catherine" I got a cute card from Jessica and Steve called and left me a nice voice mail wishing me a Happy B-Day.
The highlight of my school day was watching the Jeffrey Dahmer video. Again I ask, is it weird that I find sick and twisted things interesting? lol. I think it runs in the family cause my sister is a Psych major.
After school Katie wanted to take me out to lunch at Applebees, so after much confusion, and dropping Josh off, then getting Alan gas and whatnot, we finally got there. We waited around for about 15 minutes, and then Alan and Lee showed up. That was very interesting. Lee spent the time tying cherry stems into knots with his tongue. Me, Katie and Alan talked. Then the people came and sang to me and I got free icecream. Yay!
Then I went home and a short while after that my grandma came over to visit me and I got to open the present from my parents. Long behold, I got my video camera!! I was so excited, I honestly didn't think I was gonna get it. I swear it's gonna be glued to my hand now all the time. heh heh. Grandma got me a camera bag, Eddie got me some tapes, and then I got some money, balloons, cookies, a stuffed pooh and two goldfish..named Pe and Vag. hahaha.
After that we went out to dinner at the Olive Garden. Yummy spaghetti :)
Came home and sat around for awhile and then played with my camera for a bit and talked to my sister on the phone. One of these weekends I'm going down to PSU to stay with her for the weekend. Sisterly bonding. lol.
Around 12, I went to Kims house, and shortly after Steph and Shelby arrived. We waited for Tabitha and Cara Daley for a bit, then they decided they didnt wanna come so we left. We stopped at BK cause Kim was hungry, then we headed out to Camp Sherwin. It was so cold and dark, we decided not to go down to the beach, so we drove around some more. I stopped to get gas, then dropped everyone off at home.

Work bright and early tomorrow so its time for some quality shut-eye. Night :)
