Christmas is almost here!! Yehaw!!
I woke up this morning to find that my boss called and cancelled me for work. I was excited! Then mom made me go to church with her *yick*. After church we went up to the mall, she finished shopping for my dad and I finally found gifts for Shelby and Steph.
We came home and me and Eddie finished watching the 2nd half of "Pearl Harbor" I of course lost it again and cried. I can't help it. I always lose it and my eyes well up as soon as they show that little boy playing with the flowers. sigh.
Around 5 pm me and the fam headed out to my uncles house for my moms side of the familys christmas party. It was pretty cool. I held my 3 month old cousin Julia most of the time. Everyone kept taking her away from me and then when she started to cry they handed her back. I'm like "uhh..since when is she MY kid??" lol. She's such a cutie. Anyways..I got a nice pair of earrings, a $20 Walmrt gift card and a $15 Media Play gift card. Score! I'll probably buy me some DVD's.
After the party I ran to DQ to give Julia her Secret Santa gift. I got her a hemp necklace, body wash, lotion and lipgloss. She liked it.
I came home and went to Katie's and we exchanged gifts. She got me a picture frame and an embroidered patch of the british flag. It was nice.
I saw "Lord of the Rings" yesterday with my sister. It's a good movie but now I have to wait till next christmas to see the next part. Yeesh. Nice money making scheme!!
