I'm back from my eventful weekend down at good ol' Penn State.
My trip began friday around 1, when Cara and Mary came to get me. After that we headed out.
The ride down turned out to be pretty fun. Much better than riding a bus for 6 hours with random people I don't know. We ended up jamming to 80's music the whole way down, and for about 2 hours of the trip we were being stalked by some guy in a black car that could barely see over the steering wheel. lol. Thank god we lost him.
We got to PSU around 5, and Melanie came to Julia's house to get me. We dropped my stuff off at her apartment, and then went to Chili's for dinner. Great place. After that we went back to her apartment and stayed there for awhile, then decided to go see a movie. We ended up seeing "The Rules of Attraction" it was a good movie..but really..strange.
When the movie was done we went back to her place and took showers and ordered pizza and started watching "Bridget Jones's Diary" until her roomie Missy came back and brought along their friends Nicole and Jamie. After that we were all being crazy..laughing and stuff..it was pretty useless trying to watch the movie. So we all talked and stuff. Nicole and Jame left around 2.
Me, Melanie and Missy were all pretty hyper still so we started finding random, stale food and putting them outside their neighbors door and knocking. The guys were having a party and kept opening the door and taking the food inside. After 2 or 3 deliveries they yelled, "HOT FOOD..GIVE US HOT FOOD NEXT TIME!" so Missy busts out a frozen pizza and cooks it up..it was so funny. It was nearing 3 though so we all just crashed and went to sleep.
We got up around 11:30 on saturday and got dressed. Me and Melanie went out to lunch and then to the mall for awhile. We got bored after about an hour and decided to go to walmart to visit her fiance, and then to another movie..this time we saw "The Ring" it was so good, but the ending was weird. Then we went back to her apartment and chilled there.
Missy's boyfriend Nick decided to drive the 3 hours and visit her, so he was there. We were all on the computers talking to people (I was using Melanies other roomate, Emily's..and at this point I hadn't even met her yet. haha) Then the 4 of us decided to go to McDonalds and get some food.
When we got done eating, Missy and Nick departed for a Frat party and me and Melanie went to rent some movies cause some of her friends were coming over. When we got back to the apartment, Emily was there and I finally met her. Boy is she a moron. I didn't believe Melanie and Missy at first until I saw it for myself. yikes.
At 11:30, our cousin Mike wanders in the door (a tad bit drunk from earlier..haha) and then shortly after that, Missy and Nick came back. We all hung out and watched a movie. Mike is really funny..he's like my 3rd cousin or something. Mike left about 1, and Emily wandered out of her room and left and didn't return. oh well. Then the rest of us went to sleep..after talking about the deformed looking girl Missy and Nick saw at the frat party. lol.
This morning my mom called around 9 and told my sister they were an hour away, so we got up and got ready, then went outside and waited for them.
Once they got there we headed for Lock Haven. It's such a pretty campus..and the dorms are nice. I'm in love. Only problem is, its 5 hours from my house and I dunno if I could do that. sigh. We'll see.
We went back to Penn State and stopped to get some food. Then dropped Melanie off, got my stuff and headed back home.
We stopped at Clarion on the way home so I could see that campus too. It's really nice as well. So now I'm in a dilemma. Do I wanna be 2 hours away, or 5 hours away? ugh. I suppose I'll let the admissions letters let me decide..
And the BEST thing about the whole weekend was...THE COLLEGE BOYS. eye candy galore! sigh.
