Tonight was the senior banquet. And surprising enough, I had a good time.
Melissa picked me up around 5:30, and we headed downtown to the Avalon Hotel (yes folks, one of erie's only "fancier" hotels..haha) we were a bit early so we sat in the lobby and waited for some more people to arrive.
Once we got inside, we found our table and roamed around taking pictures and stuff. There was a good turn out - at least half, if not more of the senior class was there.
After everyone got there and settled in, they began serving the food. I had a fun table - Melissa, Jessica, Andrea, Jessica, Lindsay, Nate, Alla, Aaron and Racquel. There were a lot of laughs during dinner. And the food was alright - minus the stuffing in the chicken. yuck.
After dinner they had some musical performances. Steph Swindlehurst sang a good song. So did Caitlyn Blake and Braden Maloney. McDowell houses some talent, let me tellll you. lol.
Then they put on the senior video. Which was really good, although I don't think I was on it. sigh. oh well. The last song on the video was "Here's to the Night" and it was just so appropriate for this..and sad. A lot of people were crying. I didn't, but reality is setting in!
I took lots of pictures, that I plan on developing tomorrow after school, so hopefully I'll be getting them posted sometime soon.
