First off, excuse the layout. I was so bored last night I messed around with it and came up with that. It's not staying that way, Tabitha is going to make me a template eventually, so this will have to do until she makes it.
So yea. Where was I?
Oh. I woke up this morning and called DQ around 9:30 to see if I had to work, and I didn't. Yay!! So my mom asked if I wanted to go shopping. Why not?
So me, mom and Melanie started off. We went to "Michaels" first and they had no fabrics. boo. We ended up buying other stuff though. Then we went some other places..actually ALOT of other places. One was "JoAnn Fabrics" where we ended up buying a crapload of fleece. I promised my mom I would make 9 baby blankets in fashion class for the pregnant teen girls at the place she works. I don't know what I got myself into.
After that we went to a few more stores. It was snowing pretty bad and I was getting shopped out. And sadly, I still haven't purchased even one christmas gift for anyone. oops. Add that to my to-do-list.
At 3, we headed out to Harborcreek for my cousin Sammy's first birthday party. Family gatherings can be so unpredictable, and yet so..fun. BEST quote from this particular gathering..
me: Aunt Linda, how is it that you always end up having to serve the ice cream at birthday parties?
aunt linda: mmm. I LOVE ice cream. I love to be near it, to touch it..yumm..
aunt lori: What is this? Some kinda porn scene??
aunt linda: oops. I tend to forget I need to watch what I say around people, especially at a one year olds party!
me: (laughing histerically)
Oh geeze. My dads sisters are the best. Gotta love my aunts. NOW can you see why I enjoy family parties so much? haha.
So the rest of the party was fun. I have the cutest cousins by far. And my grandmas crazy comments? Let's not even go there.
Okay well yea. That was pretty much my day. I might be going to eat n park in a little bit..lets hope cause I'm hungry!
