How about I got up at 10:15 today, got ready, and then put on my work clothes. I go downstairs, and the phone rings and its my boss saying "How would you feel about having the day off?"..um hello. Of course I'd love a day off, but so nice of you to call after I'm dressed. And yes, as much as I love having off, I need money!
So instead me and Eddie watched "Orange County" because he wanted to watch it. Colin Hanks is gorgeous. Jack Black is hysterical. Awesome combo!
Around 2 o'clock we headed over for a picnic at my great aunts house. My great uncle is in town from Tennessee, so we had a little get together so we could visit with him. I hung out with Christina most of the time.
Then around 5 we had to go to Lindsays graduation party. It was so strange being there with everyone I grew up with - Lindsay, Amanda, Jessica, Karlee and Kaleena. I talked about colleges with Kaleena for awhile, and chilled with everyone. I talked to Steph on the cell phone for about 25 minutes. lol.
Came home, and ran the movie back to Reel Entertainment. Then I got home and called Katie. She informed me that Steve was on his way over to pick us up. Um..crap? I hurried to get ready then walked next door to her house. We listened to switchfoot while we waited for him. MMM..I love that group!
Steve came and we decided to go to the beach. Me and Katie were kicking water at each other for awhile, and then shes like "I'm going to sit on those lifeguard chairs.." and she goes over there (purposely leaving me and Steve alone)...so me and Steve started skipping stones and just talking. Basically about all kinds of stuff. The we found these random shoes laying in the sand, so I take the sandal and toss it, and it skipped! Me and him were laughing about that one. Then he threw this winnie the pooh shoe and it sank. We talked some more, then headed over to the lifeguard chair to attempt to tip Katie over. No such luck.
Steve walked away to find more stones and Katie's like "You dummy! He wants to kiss you...go over there!" but it would have been too awkward with Katie there..yanno? So yeh..
A little while later we got back in Steve's car and just drove around for awhile. We stopped at Katie's friend Kayla's house so she could see her, so me and Steve waited in the car..more awkwardness. Then we drove around a little longer, then he dropped us back off so he wouldn't be past 11 (junior license..i know the feeling!).
Hung out at Katie's for about an hour. We ate kettle korn and watched some of "Nine Months" on TV..then I came home.
I'm super tired so I think I'm going to bed.
