So my senior skip day ended up being a lot of fun. Yay for not going to school!!
It's kinda weird that its over already. Like this is it. It seems like only yesterday we were all glued to the TV watching Zack and friends on their senior skip day on "Saved By the Bell" thinking it was so cool to be able to do that, and then yesterday we did. It's amazing how fast time drifts by when you are out enjoying the world.
But anyway. I woke up around 8:30, not wanting to waste my day. Kim called and we made our plans. I decided to do something with my hair so I pulled out my long lost, and long forgotten three barrel curler, and curled my hair. The results weren't bad although I can never seem to get the back of my hair curled all the way.
So around 10, Cara and Kim arrived and we set off for our day. We ended up going to New York and checking out Chautaqua. We drove around the Chautaqua institute and Cara showed us her summer house, her friends houses and other random things. And then we went to Andraccio's for lunch. Italian food. mmm. It was really good. I got the chicken parmesan and then fried icecream for dessert.
Next we headed for the Chautaqua mall. I'd never been there but it ended up being pretty nice. I was strapped for cash so all I ended up buying was a mothers day card for mi madre. oh well. But now I need to go buy her a gift and I'm clueless.
After the mall we headed back for home, seeing many random things along the way. A car full of cute guys that blew us kisses, and then a random otter/beaver/woodchuck in the middle of I-90. Me and Cara screamed when we saw it. lol.
The rest of my night was spent shopping with my mom, and then helping my mom and my sisters fiance's mom put together the favors for her bridal shower. What fun.
Then I headed out to go sleep over Kim's house with her and Cara.
