Today was our last class for Child Development, and it was really fun. We planned a party for the kids, themed around "Blue's Clue's"..we got plates, cups and napkins to match, we brought snacks, games and a movie. The kids had a few surprises for us as well - some snacks, cards, home-made capes, a big sign and flowers. It was so cute! It was a fun time and I'm really gonna miss those kids, but we definately are going to go visit them again before the year lets out. I don't see how teachers can teach kids the entire year, and then not get attached to the students. I've only taught the kids for a couple months and I miss them already.
Hmm..after school I had to make up my dance class. It was just me and I kept getting confused and frusterated because I know the dance,but I kept messing up..bleh.. but I was also having to work like right afterwards and I dunno..I was stressed. lol.
I worked tonight and it sucked. We are having a blizzard sale so we were sorta busy. Around 9:30 Mark got to leave so I had to go back in the kitchen and finish closing it..well for some reason he decided to leave it a big mess, and half the jobs weren't done. Grr...I'm gonna have a talk with that boy. Usually he's so good with getting stuff done, I usually tease him about it!
Umm..ooh I bought a three prong thingy today..it's one of those things that make your hair wavy. I know it's not called a three prong cause when I asked the lady about it she looked at me like I was insane..so I dunno what it's called. But anyways..now I can have my hairy wavy at last minute instead of having to briad them the night before and sleep with the braids in.
I think I'm going to wear my hair wavy for my senior pics next week. Hmm..
Yes! Tomorrow is friday..I think I might make it a girls night out with Jackie and Jessi..those are always fun times!
